Funded initiatives
Funded initiatives help to enable businesses to access university expertise‚ training and facilities.
The UK government and other national and regional business development organisations provide funding for various business support programmes designed to facilitate greater collaboration between businesses and universities.
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) provides funding to support the transfer of university expertise to public and private sector organisations through the delivery of highly focussed strategic and tactical projects.
Bournemouth University (BU) has considerable experience of delivering KTPs, with award winning successful partnerships with local businesses in the South West region.
Our Graduate internship programme has been created to provide funding and graduates to support businesses. The programme aims to stimulate growth, assist economic recovery and improve manufacturing and services in the region.
