Who is it for?
The workshop is aimed at usability consultants, media consultants, web designers, graphic designers and information architects who would like to see and hear more about what eye tracking can do.
Course content
- Discover what eye tracking is and what it can tell you.
- Observe state–of–the–art eye tracking equipment in action.
- Find out about eye tracking methodology and scientific experimental design.
- Learn about the types of data that can be collected and how it can be presented.
- Experience having your eyes tracked during an eye tracking experiment.
- Find out ways in which you can use eye tracking to improve your media.
- You will be given a heat map of eye fixations on your media.
Why should you attend the event?
Eye tracking can give us insights into visual media that we are unable to get in any other way. Eye tracking can be used to analyse website appeal and usability, as well as other visual stimuli such as directional signage, poster advertising and product and packaging design.
